Shrub to 1.5m. Flowers are in spikes, yellow, May toJune. It grows in gullies and is quite wide spread

Shrub to 4m. Flowers yellow spikes May - Sept. Grows in reddish sandy and gravelly soils on flat plains and hillsides in spinifex grassland communities.

Mulga

Tree to 8m. Flowers are on spikes, bright yellow, April to July. It grows on loam or sand and is widespread in the region.

Water is found in roots and cavities, also used for spears and boomerangs.
